Resolve
Brand Authority & Search Visibility Audit — September 2026
Data: Ahrefs estimates (US), Aug 2025 – Sep 2026 · Peec AI visibility, 29 Sep 2026
Where Resolve stands today
1,498 → 848 monthly US visits (Aug 2025 → Aug 2026, Ahrefs est.)
Target keywords in the top 100 — #7 for “digital pr services”
Competitor median 67 — a 22-point gap (Ahrefs, Aug 2026)
Named in 0 of 356 AI answers across 12 buyer prompts (Peec, 29 Sep 2026)
Resolve sells authority-building to other companies, but its own search footprint is shrinking: US organic traffic is down 43% year over year and 74% since June 2026, and the site is absent from page one for every high-volume term its buyers search, and AI engines don't name it in a single answer.
Messaging needs work
| Criterion | Verdict | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Why beyond what (Sinek) | PASS | The H1 — “Resolve Gets You the Brand Mentions + Backlinks You Need for AI/SEO Visibility” — names an outcome, and the subhead names the pain (“tired of chasing an algorithm or getting the same old guest post links”). The outcome is a marketing metric, not a business result. |
| Differentiation | FAIL | The hero and “What Sets Resolve Apart” use the category’s standard claims: custom strategies, white hat, quality over quantity, relevance, long-term growth. Swap in a competitor’s name and the copy still reads true. |
| Customer at centre (StoryBrand) | FAIL | The hero opens “Resolve Gets You…” and “Resolve is an Off-Page SEO focused agency”; section heads are “Resolve is Trusted By”, “Where You’ve Seen Resolve” and “What Sets Resolve Apart”. |
The differentiators are buried
Resolve has proof points most link building vendors can't show: 6,400+ links built for 160+ client sites, 72% of placements on DR 40+ sites, published per-link pricing from $475, and a Gusto case where the target page grew from 4,700 to 36,000 monthly visits. All of it sits on the SaaS service page. The homepage leads with generic claims instead.
Two segments, distinct pitch
The Services menu names two segments — SaaS and agencies (white label) — and both pages carry genuinely segment-specific messaging. Healthcare, fintech and ecommerce clients appear in the logos and testimonials but have no dedicated page in the navigation.

target keywords trigger an AI Overview
The nine keywords where Resolve is outside the top 100 carry 28,600 monthly US searches, and eight of them are low-difficulty (KD 17 or under). The one ranking — #7 for “digital pr services” — comes from the /digital-pr-services/ page, which climbed from #66 in the past year. Source: Ahrefs, US.
Who owns these searches
Aggregated across the five highest-volume target keywords (22,700 monthly US searches combined). Aggregate Traffic is the Ahrefs-estimated monthly organic traffic of each domain's ranking pages, counted once per page.

Two link building vendors, Loganix and LinkBuilder.io, hold 51% of the page traffic. Most of the rest is “best link building agencies” listicles published by other agencies, each ranking its author near the top. Resolve publishes one of these too (/best-link-building-services/), but it ranks for “backlink providers”, not the head terms.
The blog fell off in July 2026
US organic traffic grew through the first half of 2026, then fell to 1,653 in July and 848 in August. September is tracking lower again (370 through the 28th). Source: Ahrefs estimates, US.
Which pages moved
Ahrefs page-level estimates, US, 31 Aug 2025 vs 31 Aug 2026. Top-10 pages in either period that moved 10% or more.

A blog problem, not a sitewide slide
Every page that lost traffic is a blog post, and those ten posts shed 1,077 visits — 86% of the page-level decline. The pages are still live — they lost rankings, they weren't removed.
Several of them show the same last-modified timestamp, 17 July 2026, the month the drop began; that date is the first thing to check.
Domain Rating vs. organic traffic
Each brand is plotted twice — a circle for August 2025, a triangle for August 2026 — joined by a line showing its year-over-year move. Y axis is log scale. Source: Ahrefs, US organic traffic and Domain Rating.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ResolveYOU | 1,498 | 848 | −43.4% | 32 | 45 | +13 |
| LinkBuilder.io | 55,124 | 14,283 | −74.1% | 67 | 67 | 0 |

| Link Building Services IO | 0 | 299 | new | 3.9 | 38 | +34 |
| Growthner | 1 | 37 | +3,600% | 2.6 | 31 | +28 |
Same service, opposite year
OneLittleWeb sells the same mix — link building and digital PR to B2B and SaaS buyers — and grew US traffic from 1,867 to 52,067 while lifting DR from 54 to 71. In the same twelve months Resolve's traffic fell 43% even as its DR rose from 32 to 45. The two established vendors, LinkBuilder.io and Loganix, also lost 43–74%, which suggests part of the decline is category-wide; OneLittleWeb shows it isn't inevitable.
Reading the low end of the chart
Link Building Services IO had zero estimated US traffic in August 2025 and is plotted at 1, because a log axis can't show zero. Growthner's 2025 figure is a single visit. Both are new entrants, not established rivals.
Technical site health: 98 / 100
Only 14 of 626 crawled URLs (2.2%) have errors.
Top error categories
| Category | Affected URLs | Biggest issue |

| Images | 5 | Image file size too large (5) |
| Internal pages | 2 | 4XX / 404 page (1 URL) |
The larger clean-up is in the warnings: 66 slow pages, 82 missing meta descriptions, 35 noindexed pages and 29 pages without an H1.

Two link building vendors, LinkBuilder.io and Loganix, each appear in about one AI answer in eight. Resolve appears in none. This is a frequency problem, not a reputation one: the engines aren't describing Resolve badly, they aren't describing it at all.

Which domains influence AI
The three domains the engines retrieve most often for these prompts.
| Domain | Type | What gets retrieved |
|---|---|---|
| clutch.co | Directory | “Top Link Building Companies” ranking pages (US and global), the PR firms category, and agency profile pages. Retrieved in 18.26% of chats. |
| reporteroutreach.com | Competitor | Its own “10 Best Link Building Services” and “10 Best Digital PR Agencies” listicles, plus its SaaS and ecommerce service pages. Retrieved in 17.42% of chats. |
| cuttingedgepr.com | Publisher | “Best link building services USA”, “best SaaS link-building services” and “best manual link building” listicles. Retrieved in 14.89% of chats. |
All three are rankings pages — a directory's category listings and two agencies' “best X” lists. The engines build their shortlists from these pages, so a place on the Clutch link building category and on the Cutting Edge PR and Reporter Outreach roundups is the most direct route into the answers.
Reddit's grip on the category
Reddit on Google page one
Two Reddit threads rank on page one for Resolve's target keywords.
| Thread | Keyword | Position | Traffic |

No Reddit thread names Resolve, positively or negatively. The r/SEO thread is a buyer asking for digital PR agency recommendations on a keyword where Resolve doesn't rank. One thread shows up in both channels: the r/SEOTips101 list also sits in Google's discussions block for “link building packages”, and it already names Loganix and LinkBuilder.io — one credible contribution there pays off on Google and in AI answers at once.
Conversion needs one fix
Resolve has more mid-funnel offers than most agencies: a strategy quiz, a free Ranking Roadmap report, free digital PR concepts and an AI visibility check. The weakness is how generic the landing page is.
| Element | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Lead capture | Weak | The Ranking Roadmap report and the CEO consult both link to the same First name / Last name / Email / Website / Message form on the homepage. The form never reflects what the visitor asked for, so a report request reads like a generic contact enquiry. |
| Mid-funnel asset | Strong | SEO Strategy Finder quiz on the homepage, Free Ranking Roadmap Report, and five free digital PR concepts plus a link gap analysis. |
| Blog CTAs | Strong | Recent posts carry an in-body offer (e.g. “Free AI Visibility Check” on the LLM SEO guide), a newsletter signup, an end-of-post contact form and a pop-up offer. |
Structure
The main navigation lists seven services — Link Building (with a SaaS sub-page), Data-Driven Digital PR, White Label Link Building, Content Creation, SEO, Local SEO, and PPC & Social Media Advertising — and two segments: SaaS companies and agencies.
